| Bio: | I love to knit! Knitting is my main passion in life. It's not unusual for me to have four or five projects going at once. I think it's a crime to have empty needles laying around! I even taught a knitting class, just so I could get people to knit with me. Life is too short to knit with cheap yarn (although I do, occasionally) or watch movies with ugly guys in them. I'm shallow and hormonally driven. I can multi-task...knit and watch movies. Except some movies (any with Sean Bean, Gerard Butler, Marton Csokas, Mads Mikkelsen) frequently cause me to have sweaty palms or drop stitches. I'm a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who works long and hard in a Transitional Care Unit at a Long Term Care facility in Northwest Montana. I love my work, it's who I am. Along with being a knitter. A passionate knitter. I might even be labeled a compassionate knitter, as I'm trying to organize other therapists who knit into making baby hats for the hospital nursery as well as the new neo-natal ICU. Long hours limit my knitting, but overtime pay buys more yarn! I'm also a huge LOTR geek, as you can tell from my nickname. My Men of Middle Earth action figures sit next to me. Silent sentinels protecting me from websites that "claim" to have free knitting patterns online. I love good music. Good music means classical, opera and Queen. I have been a fan of Freddie, Brian, Roger and John *squee* since I was 16 years old and first heard "Killer Queen" on the radio.
